I need a web application for buying & seling commodities (oil, precious metals, etc.) online for small investors. It should have 10 – 15 pages with the home page (commodities, prices, market news), user registration page, user portfolio page, buy & sell pages, static pages, market data pages, live chat support. It should have connectivity to futures exchanges for commodity prices; news gateway and payment gateway. Also needs to support back-office functionalities – reporting & monitoring of transactions and orders, connectivity to accounting software, manual inventory, customer statements, manual maintenance of market research pages. In terms of style, I want a very conservative and professional look that will appeal to my small investors. This is a brand-new site. I have designed it, but could use someone with a good eye to improve the design. I already have all the copy-writing for the site done. I need the developer to solve how to connect to futures prices on commodity exchanges (CME, ICE). I need the developer to develop back-office functionalities and integrate with web-site (except for accounting software which will be off-the-shelf).
